Karlsruhe, Germany

IT-Trans is an international conference specialized in IT solutions applied to Pubic Transportations that takes place, every two years, in Karlsruhe, in Germany. Alongside the conference takes place an exhibition dedicated to the same subject.

The current crisis creates a rather difficult situation for the Public Transport sector. The answers found for these challenges will define the evolution and sustainability of the sector in the long and medium term future. The situation requires a new approach freeing Public Transport from the excessive dependency from the state and that changes its focus towards the needs of the market and of the customers.

Advanced Technology for Mobility and Transport

Projects

BCCM uses in the development of its products and solutions a cyclical process designed to correctly identify and solve the needs and problems of its customers. This continuous process is also used in the development of tailor-made projects.
In the development process, each product is constantly confronted with the state-of-the–art technology and with the permanent evolution of needs and problems. The full process of conception, development and implementation restarts periodically, leading either to new tools, products and solutions or to the improvement of the existing ones.

Products

  • Ruggedized and reliable, the on-board computer MB8 II is specifically adequate to the difficult environment aboard transport vehicles.

Currently the most powerful equipment in BCCM's line of on-board equipments, the MB8 II unit can be a true on-board LAN Server as well as a sophisticated multimedia system for on-board entertainment and information.

Solutions

BCCM global solutions are designed with a multi-tiered architecture to answer concrete needs in the field of mobility and public transport.

The lower, infrastructural level includes the basic processes of information gathering, creation and manipulation, needed to offer valid answers to the problems addressed.

The operational level comprises the processes that enable the customer to manage operationally the situation, and offer a first group of tangible benefits, typically in the form of extended efficiency and effectiveness.

The last and higher level is formed by processes that, by providing extra-operational information both inside and outside the organization, support higher and more extended benefits and value creation to the business of our customers.
